JLC’s founding members have a combined 60+ years experience in Environmental Engineering; Ecosystem Assessment and Restoration; Civil Engineering; and the application of sustainable principles to site planning and development, transportation, and stormwater management. We provide a full range of scientific, engineering, landscape planning, GIS and design services.

Washington Park Flood Mitigation
JLC Associates performed construction oversight for a stream restoration project in the City of New Castle. The purpose of the project was to provide flood mitigation, stream restoration and wetland enhancement along a highly degraded unnamed tributary of the Delaware River.
The project included construction of a new stream channel, installation of rock j-hooks, floodplain grading, community outreach, and federal, state, and local permitting. JLC Associates acted as liaison between the owner; the construction contractor; the City of New Castle, Delaware; and the New Castle Conservation District.
